Mandreggan moonblossoms were a type of plant, that had large fragile-looking petals that were pale yellow in the center, which faded to white, and then deepened into a lush shade of scarlet. In 2265, Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu was attempting to cultivate some moonblossoms in the botany lab of the USS Enterprise.
