Anna Prince married Julian Creighton, a popular and wealthy Member of Parliament, on May 3, 2989. Although he had multiple affairs, Prince maintained that she always loved Creighton. While campaigning, Jay Creighton was assassinated. When the news was announced to Anna, she locked herself in her room for four days. Her first appearance after his assassination was at his funeral while her two young children. Her daughter was six and her son was not even two. Following Creighton's assassination, Antonia Franco-Oppenheimer became General Secretary. During the tenure of Franco-Oppenheimer, Prince closely guarded her children's privacy and returned to her career as a journalist.
