The RC1720S features an alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a fixed bridge, dual Ibanez soapbar-style single coil pickups, a bone nut and Gotoh locking tuning machines. The RC1720M is a similar model with a maple fingerboard and different pickups.
