She's surprisingly young, in her teens, and seems well-educated, following an uncommon shamanic tradition. She is fiercely protective of women and children, particularly of the Yoruba tribe, and has no qualms about advocating violent countermeasures against those who harm any of her charges. Although she may not act herself in such cases, she is often behind the scenes, urging the deaths of those who have offended her. She is held in great esteem by the local Yoruba women, who sometimes travel great distances to find her.
