The Vertigo Aerodyne is a helicopter-like turbofan VTOL/STOL aircraft employed by Metropolis as a gunship, operated by a single Pilot. Vertigos are commonly armed with a machine gun but can also carry bombs and drones, which they can deploy over enemy forces. The Vertigo has limited carrying capacity and is rarely used for air lift - this is usually taken over by the Torque.
