The Nightmare Factory or the boiler room, is a recurring location in the dream realm that's been featured in the Nightmare on Elm Street series. As the series progressed it became part of Freddy Krueger's dream home of 1428 Elm Street. This is where he kills many of his victims. It is one of the most iconic locations that Freddy has used in all of the movies. Most of Freddy's confrontations, victories and defeats have taken place here such as the death of Kristen Parker, Freddy's defeat and Tina Gray's first nightmare sequences in the opening of the first movie.
