Cuneiform was used by the Sumerians. It consists of many strokes and was a pictographic alphabet. The Ohne, Nem, that captured Dr. Daniel Jackson used this language. Nem said that his mate Omoroca went to Babylon to convince the Tau'ri that the Goa'uld were not Gods. This might be evidence that the Ohnes brought the language to the Sumerians.
