Daz was assigned to engineering aboard the USS Enterprise-A under Captain Montgomery Scott in 2293, where he wore a radiological suit during the ship's approach and subsequent battle with Chang's Bird-of-Prey near the orbit of Khitomer. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) Daz was played by background actor Max Cervantes and identified by his name tag. His uniform, including said name tag, was sold off at the It's A Wrap! sale and auction. [1]
