Jathis Harne was born on Ralltiir to a family of artists. His mother was a painter and his father a sculptor, together they were able to afford the best education for their son. Jathis had every opportunity available to him attending private schools, and being accepted into the University of Coruscant at a young age. While there he attended rally's and marches protesting the more heavy handed methods of imperial control and was among the thousands of citizens who tore down the statue of the Emperor after the second Death Star was destroyed.
