Archibald "Archie" Andrews is the central character in most stories published by Archie Comics as well as the long-running Archie Andrews radio series, a syndicated comic strip, The Archie Show, and Archie's Weird Mysteries. His first appearance was in Pep Comics #22 (December 1941), when the company was still known as MLJ Magazines (the company's name was changed as a result of the character's popularity). Archie is a teenager residing in Riverdale, USA. Archie encountered the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 1991's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Meet Archie".
