Grover sings "I Want to Be Your Friend" to an empty suit of Maximilian armor that he mistakes for an actual person in Don't Eat the Pictures. He suggests to his "shiny chum" that they can play together and pretend to be knights. Maria eventually comes and clarifies to Grover that the suit of armor is not alive, to which he then claims that he knew all along. But before he leaves, he says goodbye to the armor as though he still believes it's alive.
