USS Charon is a Star Trek play-by-email simulation that is part of the United Confederation of Interstellar Planets (UCIP) simming organization.. It was officially launched on December 16th, 2008 as the successor to Astate Colony and it has quickly become one of the UCIP's most active and entertaining simulations. On December 28th 2009 the Charon won the UCIP Bergen award being voted as the best game of 2009.
