The Spartan Metro Star was introduced in 1991 and is still in production today as one of Spartan's most popular models. It is a medium duty chassis with a variety of options. Engine choices are Cummins ISC8.3 or ISL9 with horsepower ratings ranging from 330-450 and can be supplied with a Allison 3000 EVS transmission. The Metro Star features a 94" wide cab and comes with 2 front-end styling options; Classic, or Sirius (Smeal/SVI exclusive).
