Citizen’s Hose Company #1 of Glassport, PA was organized March 22, 1901. For some reason there are very few records from the early 1900’s. CHC #1 has been a long time member of the Western PA Fireman’s Association, since at least 1904. We also belong to the State of PA Fireman’s Association, Allegheny County Firefighters Association, Southwestern PA Chief Association, and the Mon-Yough Fire Defense Council. We protect the 5,000 plus Citizens of the Borough of Glassport, Allegheny County, PA. Our motto is "Always There". We are very proud of this motto and we display on all of our apparatus.
