The Phantasy Star 1st Series Complete Album is a four disc soundtrack celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Phantasy Star franchise. Each disc focuses on one of the games in the classic quartet. Disc 1 primarily collects music from the original Phantasy Star, both the original PSG music and the augmented FM music, and the remixed music from the Sega Saturn version of the Phantasy Star Collection. Disc 2 showcases the original Japanese chiptunes and the slightly different international versions of Phantasy Star II. Disc 3 features tracks from Phantasy Star III. The soundtrack concludes with Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium on disc 4.
