The D.C. Metro Service Bureau was a local municipal agency which managed the City Liner public transportation system. This system consisted of a fleet of buses which transported passengers along a route and deposited and picked up passengers from bus stops. Some of these bus stops were placed close to the Metro, which was managed by the D.C. Transit Authority.
