Tenochtitlan (Nahuatl: Tenōchtitlān [tenoːtʃˈtitɬaːn]), is located in the Federal District that is one of the two Royal Special Districts. Its nickname is The Light of America. Tenochtitlan is the politic, cultural and economic centre of the country, and it is the biggest city in the world. It is the richest and biggest city in the country, with more than ten million inhabitants and more than 27 million inhabitants in its metropolitan area.
