Following the end of the Iconian War in the year 2410, the USS Nye performed a stellar survey in the sector when it encountered a Tholian fleet. Offering communications, the Nye received a warning shot from the Tholians, and backed off. Captain Wallace informed Starfleet Command about the encounter, and the Nye resumed its mission.
