Ivan and Paul head off together to collect Ivan’s belongings from his ex-wife Jordan. Jordan assumes the pair are an item and begins to laugh at at them. Paul returns to the van to find a group of youths spraying homophobic taunts on the van. He stands up to the group but panics when he realises he is outnumbered. Ivan comes to Paul’s rescue and confirms he is indeed his boyfriend. Elsewhere, Viv is surprised when Bob announces that his new year’s resolution is to regain contact with his many children. Viv tries to dismiss the idea as she is jealous that on finding his children they will mean more to him than she or Donna.
