Highway 101 starts in Langford, at the ferry terminal. It goes northwest through Roberts Creek, Davis Bay, Sechelt, Halfmoon Bay, Madiera Park, and Kleindale, to Earls Cove, where it boards a ferry across the Jervis Inlet to Saltery Bay. From Saltery Bay, Highway 101 goes west through Saltery Bay Provincial Park to Lang Bay. From here, it continues northwest through Brew Bay, Myrtle Point, Powell River, Wildwood, and Sliammon to its ending in Lund.
