The Diablo Del Mar, later known as the Royal Champion, was the ship captained by Spaniard Rocco Madrid. The Del Mar was captured by Redjack Teal near Puerto Rico. Teal disbanded the crew and took Ludon as his hostage, renaming the vessel the Royal Champion. The Royal Champion and the Devon Belle were both later taken into the custody of the French Navy.
