The LV-F deflector shield was a type of deflector shield system produced by Prexton during the the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. The LV-F had a low total stopping power until its "fortress" program was activated, which would then generate a significant boost to shield strength as long as the starship remained still and did not accelerate.
