The Crystal of Keskru was an artifact of the dark side, a jet-black stone imbued with dark power. It was first found by XoXaan, who wore it as a dark side necklace, and later found on Ziost, by Darth Volcanov, who used it in his lightsaber. After Jedi Master Tom killed Darth Volcanov, the Jedi Master picked up the lightsaber, and it instantly dissolved into a black powder in his hands, meaning that the crystal could not be owned by anyone loyal to the light.
