The Tiger's Head is the English translation of the olimi weZulu name for the military regiment in personal command of the monarch. It is in contrast to The Tiger's Tail, a regiment commanded by the heir apparent. The Tiger's Head is a fully-operationalized full-time professional infantry regiment. It should not be confused with the monarch's honor guard and personal security detail called The King's Guard. The Tiger's Head is the most senior regiment of the Ibutho Army. It is stationed at Isizinda.
