Hansel and Gretel in 3D is an action packed version of the beloved children's fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel. The movie is being produced by Kira Madallo Sesay and her film production company Kalliope Films. The film blends the gothic mystique of witchcraft with fantastical creatures and endearing human characters. Hansel and Gretel in 3D will introduce the legendary beings of Teutonic (Germanic) mythology. A collection of German history's most notorious and intriguing characters will be unveiled to modern movie audiences for the first time. The creatures will be designed by Joseph C. Pepe, who was also the lead character designer (Stan Winston Studio) on Avatar (2009 film).
