A flute carved from a bone was given to Charlie as a gift from the Generous Ones in May 2009; Charlie then delivered the flute back to Alexandra Quick and Maximilian King, and Quick played the flute to transport herself, King, and Charlie to a mountaintop in the Lands Below where they encountered the Generous Ones, led by Tiow.
