In June 2001 the Officiator led the funeral service for Alma Halliwell who had chosen to have a non-religious, humanist service. She welcomed the congregation to Weatherfield Crematorium, introduced Ken Barlow for his tribute speech and Audrey Roberts to read the poem "Do not stand at my grave and weep."
