The American Wrestling Alliance, or AWA, was a professional wrestling organization based out of Atlanta, Georgia and relocated to two locations; first in Virginia Beach, Virginia, then onto New York City, New York, and now to its current location in Atlanta, Georgia. American Wrestling Alliance mainly operated in the southestern parts of the United States File:MiniUnitedStatesFlag.jpg including in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee where most of the wrestling bouts were promoted in. In some occation, American Wrestling Alliance also promoted in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
