Jamison Meriwether was a street thug in his younger years and at 17 was known as a force to be reckoned with in his neighborhood. After hearing about a new sport called pit fighting Meriwether was one of the first competitors. However, after only two months, he stopped fighting in favor of betting on matches as he found he was far better at picking the winner of a fight than fighting himself.
