Kung Fu is a Nintendo published remake of the phenomenal arcade video game Kung-Fu Master. It was released in 1985, whereas the original was released in 1984. The arcade title was developed by Irem and the original is credited as being the first beat-em up video game, a genre that while in recent years has died down in popularity featured some of the noteworthy titles during the 80's and 90's with games such as Double Dragon, Final Fight and Bad Dudes. This version was made by the same team who made Super Mario Bros.
