Rod is an unseen character in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town. He is talked about often by his wife Lillia and two children Popuri and Rick. Rod never makes an appearance in the game however, as he is on a search to cure Lillia's uncureable illness. Rod is also best friends with Zack. They both fell in love with Lillia, but Rod married her first. Zack has vowed to never interfere with Rod and Lillia's relationship, even if Rod is away.
