Ebroin of Genlith (eh-BROE-een of GEN-lith, hard "g") is a Tortallan nobleman and an advocate in the Tortallan courts of law. He is a relation of Vinson of Genlith, although the degree of kinship is unknown. As an advocate, he serves the more powerful nobility, including the Stone Mountain family. He represented Joren of Stone Mountain in the young man's trial for the kidnapping of Lalasa Isran. He argued with Turomot of Wellam, the Lord Magistrate of Tortall, about the fines that the magistrate was imposing as a punishment for Joren.
