This alter-ego is introduced during a storyline in which Snoopy quits Charlie Brown's baseball team after Charlie Brown questions his effort. On March 13, 1968, Charlie Brown pleads with Snoopy to return to the team, offering him any position, even manager. Snoopy quickly accepts, labelling himself the World Famous Baseball Manager. The team does not improve under his management, as Snoopy's only management tactic is to kick all of his players on their behinds after they make mistakes, fail to score, or otherwise offend him.
