Stanisław Jackowski (1881–1929) was one of the early pioneers of armoured warfare during the Polish-Soviet war of 1919-1921. He was the first ever Polish tank officer or crew member to be awarded the Virtuti Militari (Silver Cross-V No 3380). He became Commander of the II Battalion of the Polish 1st Tank Regiment.
