In 2379, under the command of Fleet Captain Krogan and First Officer Zurka, the veScharg'a was the lead ship of a fleet of sixty Klingon vessels sent to Tezwa after the destruction of a smaller fleet four hours before. The veScharg'a was preparing to begin the attack when the USS Enterprise-E used Klingon Fleet Command's prefix codes to gain control of the entire Klingon fleet, completely shutting down power on the ships.
