Evelyn Thomas is a character never shown on the screen. She lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When she is 22 years old, she sustains clinical death and is revived 27 seconds later. She dies six months later in excellent physical health. Her case is cited by Dr. Margaret Winslow in "Dead Ringer" to illustrate that the body spirit can leave the body upon clinical death, only to return later signaling that death is near.
