Nemeir founded a Gungan temple inside the chamber's of the mollusk's shell. However, the temple was destroyed by forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, who ruptured the mollusk's shell, flooding the chambers. The Gungans evacuated the temple, and the mollusk retreated back to the deep sea. Nemeir never discovered whether or not the creature died or healed.
