Bursay frogs, also bursay, were reptilian creatures. A dwarf species existed, the adult of which was the same size as an offspring of the common species. A number of dwarf bursays were exported to Tatooine as pets of Jabba Desilijic Tiure, who enjoyed eating them whole. Large numbers of wild dwarf bursay lived in the deserts during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Bursay meat was appreciated in cookery, though some alien species, including Twi'leks and Rodians, were allergic to this meat.
