5 years after the defeat of Master Xandred, another major nighlok invasion occurred and all 7 Samurai Rangers fought hard, but were ultimately defeated by a nighlok named Zorax. However, they were able to seal Zorax in a rock known as the Sanzu Stone. In the present day, 15 years after the creation of the Stone, the next generation of Samurai Rangers must fight off the remaining Nighloks and learn more about their true intentions and a special ceremony known as The Awakening of the King.
