Fresh Guacamole is a 2012 stop-motion animated short film by PES. The film features familiar objects such as grenades, a baseball, dice, x-mas bulbs, a miniature golf ball, and poker chips that are transformed into a dish of guacamole. Fresh Guacamole was nominated for the Oscar in the category of Best Animated Short Film at the 85th Academy Awards. The film premiered as part of Showtime's "Short Stories" series online and on TV. Showtime's YouTube posting of Fresh Guacamole amassed 3.5 million hits in its first 4 days online.
