The Road of Fast Hopes, began in the Forbidden City of Otosan Uchi, crossed the Otomo Palace, passed through the Necessary Gate, the northern entrance, and crossed the Hito district. It was used by heimin servants and laborers to deliver supplies from the Outer City crossing over the Bridge of the Third Cut. Beyond the Enchanted Wall the road reached the peddler's market of the Outer City.
