Guido (Drew Carter-Cain) (2006) is a Valuxian artifical intelligence in the Galactic Guidebook. He appears when Brian and Sophie crash again in Series 8, revealing that it was their mission for the past 7 years to update the Guidebook. After a compromise which results in their memories of Series 1-Series 7 being erased, they now work to update the Guidebook. Unlike the original guidebook Guido speaks rather than type, and always gives a "tip of the day" each day he is called for the first time.
