Pompie and Vera are characters from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. They are two middle-aged women living on Windfall Island. The two are always seen together, spreading idle gossip about Windfall's citizens, particularly Lenzo and Minenco; they suspect a hidden affair between them. However, Minenco is solely interested in pictography, and seeks Lenzo's experienced advice. If Link provides evidence of this with his pictobox, Pompie and Vera will learn the error of their ways and thank Link by rewarding him with a Treasure Chart.
