Untilly Rum was a captain (field-promotion) commanding the light lancers in the Bonehunters. He was described by Ruthan Gudd as "an island-bred ferret of a man". He was a former marine but said to be able to ride like a Wickan. His move away from the Marines was apparently due to his soldiers setting the deathmark on him.
