A Map Pack is a extension to a game. A map pack contains various maps. These maps can be played in multiplayer and/or co-operative. All map packs to Call of Duty: World at War included a map that extends the Nazi Zombies game mode, excluding the Makin bonus map, where only a day version of Makin is included. First Strike is the first map pack that was made for Call of Duty: Black Ops. It contains four multiplayer maps and one Nazi Zombies map called Ascension. It was released on February 1st for the XBox 360 and March 1 for the Playstation 3.
