Religious people believe in something or other that doesn’t make sense and can’t be proved. Many religions threaten unbelievers with dire consequences if unbelievers don’t repent their unbelief and come to agree with them. Different religions contradict each other. You can’t believe them all unless you become a schizophrenic. You can’t tell which one is true and probably none is.
