The novel is a combination of blog posts written by Debbie and IM conversations between her (DebbieDoesGossip) and Joe (JoeKnowsBest). It includes "Joe" stories from several of the characters as well as Debbie's point of view of several major incidents around the hospital, including Shane Herman's teratoma, the bomb threat, and the hospital prom.
