King Aliphid was the king of the Land of the Green Isles that built the Castle of the Crown for his wife, 100 years before Derek Karlavaegen's visit to the land of the Green Isles, to replace the older draftier castle (which had served the previous generations of royalty for over 300 years). He was married to Queen Astar. King Aliphim was most likely his son or grandson.
