Hubie and Bertie are mouse characters in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of cartoons. Though largely forgotten today, Hubie and Bert represent some of director Chuck Jones' earliest work that was intended to be funny, rather than cute. All seven of their cartoons were given Blue Ribbon reissues.
