Fish cabbage was a type of food ingredient originating in the Delta Quadrant that was known to the Talaxian traveler Neelix. Apparently a lifeform that had qualities of a fish or animal, but also of a cabbage plant, a fish cabbage was known to live underwater and had gills. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)
